The large red window can be a view screen in a starship, a giant etch-a-sketch, the biggest picture phone on record, or anything else you want it to be. Behind the window is a closet sized puppet booth with two layers of theatrical scrim. This allows the puppeteers to stand up and operate their hand puppets. They can see the audience, but the kids can't see them.
